"Yummy!!! Mama, I wanna eat!!! Can you gimme something else than milk????" Hehe by the age of 6 months and above, kite dah bleh bagi our baby makanan other than milk. Since my baby is almost 4 months old, I wont give her others than my milk :). But for mommies out there who have babies older than mine, maybe you can try this out.
For Stage 3 : 9 to 12 Months Old
Intro: At this stage. we can already introduce a variety of fish and meat to our baby. Important note, allow your baby to sample one new food at a time, wait few days before trying out another new food. This is to help our baby to recognise the food and also to detect if the baby is allergy to that food or not.
Recipe 1: Bayam Kentang & Daging (Suitable for Lunch)
Bahan: 1 ulas bawang merah (dihiris/tumbuk)
1 biji ubi kentang kecil
3 auns bayam
2 auns daging (can be daging ayam ke, lembu ke, kambing ke ataupun ikan)
10 auns (300ml) air rebusan bayam
1 sudu makan minyak biji bunga matahari (low colestrol compared to minyak kelapa biasa)
Caranya: Tumis bawang dengan minyak biji bunga matahari sehingga keemasan sedikit. Masukkan kentang dan masak selama beberapa minit. Kemudian masukkan daging dan air rebusan bayam. Biarkan lebih kurang 5 minit dan akhir sekali masukkan bayam. Biarkan hingga semua bahan masak. Kisar dan lecek mengikut keperluan baby..:)
Recipe 2: Nasi Bercampur Kacang Peas
Bahan: 4 auns nasi putih
1 ulas bawang merah (dihiris)
1 ulas bawang putih (ditumbuk)
2 auns kacang peas yang beku (rendam)
1 auns ayam / ikan cincang
1 sudu teh minyak bunga matahari
13 aun (400ml) air
Rempah Kering: 1 inci kayu manis
2 biji buah pegaga
1 kuntum bunga cengkih
3 biji lada hitam
Caranya: Pijarkan minyak dam goreng rempah kering, bawang merah dan bawang putih sehingga kekuningan. Masukkan daging cincang, goreng 3-5 minit atau sehingga masak. Masukkan kacang peas dan masak selama seminit. Masukkan nasi dan air. Campuran itu dimasak dengan api yang rendah sehingga lembut. Kisar atau lecek mengikut keperluan baby.
Note: Buang rempah kering sebelum dikisar/lecek.
